Your Missionary to Alaska
The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; He hath sent me to bind up the broken-hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound. Isaiah 61:1

"Hello, everyone.  I'm feeling very well these days - just have to be careful lifting things.  I'm settled now into my big house in Greenville.  It needed a lot of maintenance work before I could move in, including leveling the house.  Thanks so much to all the people who helped out and even gave me things for the house.

"A good thing about having the accident in June is here in Texas I'm able to be around my family and friends.  In October I celebrated our birthday with my twin sister, which hasn't happened in a long time.  My daughter Alesha lives just over in Arkansas so I get to be with her and her husband and their daughters often.

"It is cold here ... but much better than that bitter cold in Alaska. but I do miss the village ministry.

"Thanks so much for all the e-mails and messages on Facebook.  God bless and have a very Merry Christmas.

After more than 40 years of ministry, Far North Bible College is now closed.   As the Lord wills, I plan to return to Anchorage to help out at Native Assembly, 11th & Ingra, until I'm assigned to a new duty station. ~Dasie

June 2007 - In Alakanuk, Pastor Dasie welcomes guest speaker, Pastor Howard Marshall, who had just come in by boat from Emmonak.

A highlight of each summer is "Camp Agaiutim Nune," the Place of God (called Camp AN).  There are 3 sessions--children, teen, and family camp.  The camp is about 25 miles up the Yukon River from Alakanuk, and everyone and everything comes in by boat.  It's a time of Bible teaching, Christian fellowship, good food, and fun.

Inside the tent, Pastor Dasie visited with friends.
